Zach is in his second year of Boy Scouts and enjoys it for the most part. He loves the camping and outdoor activities, but sometimes complains about the meetings being boring. Here are a few pictures from his Troop's annual Blue and Gold Banquet. Chris refuses to take a leadership role because of the organization's hard line stance on religious affiliation and sexual orientation, and I applaud him for that. In recent months, however, Boy Scouts has been forced to take a hard look at themselves, and I am hopeful that they will adopt the same non-discriminatory practices that Girl Scouts adheres to.
