The kids were very busy today baking cookies for Santa. They wanted to make all the cookies (three different recipes) from scratch because, as Abby put it, "Cookies from scratch just taste better." I was busy cleaning when the sugar cookies were cut out. The kids had my entire collection of cookie cutters at their disposal and Katie decided that "non-traditional" Christmas shapes would be funny. Nothing like a bat-shaped sugar cookie to put you in the holiday spirit...
