Abby turned 11 this month and celebrated with a sleepover party with a few close friends. She decided against a cake this year in favor of a decorate-your-own-cupcake activity that devolved into a let's-see-what-happens-when-you-dump-all-the-sprinkles-into-a-soda activity.Happy Birthday, Abby. You are turning into a beautiful young woman. I hope you never lose your tender sweetness and your kind heart.
