Dear Katie,
I can't believe today is your first official day as a teenager. You are such a smart young woman. Daddy and I could not be prouder of you. I know the next few years are going to be tough, so let me just say now, while you still kinda like me...I love you. I love you even when you think I'm stupid, slow, or out-of-touch. I will love you even when you say you hate me. I will love you always, no matter what.
