.This past weekend we celebrated Uncle Adam and Uncle Dave's wedding in Massachusetts. The wedding itself was at the very elegant Crane Estate in Ipswich on the coast. The "rehearsal dinner", however, was another ballgame.
Adam and Dave invited immediate family and a few special friends to join them for dinner in one of the luxury boxes at Fenway. The air-conditioned suite, complete with wide-screen tvs (even in the bathroom), was beautiful, but I think the adjacent outdoor seats were used more.![]()
The weather was picture perfect and to top it off, the Sox won a close game against Oakland. The kids loved it. In addition to the unlimited soda and desserts in the suite, I splurged and bought them popcorn, swedish fish and cotton candy in what became known throughout the night as "the commoner's section."
It was a long night for Zach, but he was able to
crash on a couch in the air-conditioned box.
