They'd been up for over two weeks when I noticed one day that people driving down our street kept stopping at the post in front of our house to look at the sign. I remember thinking it strange that no one seemed to stop during the past few weeks, so why now? I went outside and found this sign in Katie's handwriting taped to the post facing the street:
