An elementary school friend who found me on Facebook sent me this picture after seeing some of my pottery. The picture was taken around 1980 when I went with my good friend Deb to a pottery class she was taking. I remember it only being one night, and I made a coil pot, that lovely creation sitting on the potter's wheel in the photo. To dress it up, I'd fished through a bin of rubber stamps and found one of a leaf and applied it liberally. I brought it home and displayed it proudly for years. It wasn't until high school that a friend pointed out to me that my pot was covered with "pot".
